| Abstract |
Task data and staffing guidance are presented covering tasks which are generally performed by Engineers or Equipment Technicians in connection with the agency's source testing effort. The tasks deal with both stationary and mobile sources. This volume covers: Performance of a stack test; managing a stack test; determination of odor concentration in the atmosphere or in stack emissions; performing a used car inspection; performing the idle and acid tests; planning the dynamometer installation; operation and maintenance of the engine dynamometer; and operation and maintenance of the chassis dynamometer.
