Abstract | The survey was made in connection with the program of industrial waste studies being conducted by the Public Health Service in co-operation with State health departments and other agencies concerned. Three major sources of wastes were surveyed, namely: the blast furnace area, coke, and rolling mill departments. The water supply systems and waste lines were also examined. Summaries of each of these studies are given for the Geneva Steel Mill, Geneva, Utah. (Author) |
