| Abstract |
The report on the construction of public sewage treatment plants for the calendar year 1954 supplements and brings up to date the information contained in the 1952 and 1953 construction reports made by the Public Health Service. It indicates the progress made by municipalities in the United States during 1954 in providing the sewage treatment facilities necessary to prevent pollution of water resources on which downstream water users depend. |
