| Abstract |
The report pertains to benzeneacetonitrile (CAS No. 140-29-4) and is being submitted because of lethality with central nervous system signs observed in an acute oral toxicity test in guinea pigs and rats. The oral LD, was 10-25 mg/kg in guinea pigs and 100-200 mg/kg in rats. This report is being identified as a study involving other than human effects (Unit II.B.2.b of CAP Agreement). |
