Abstract
This 4-day course is intended for supervisors and may also be used for training designers of response actions. It covers in detail the work practices, abatement procedures, personal protection and relevant Federal regulations that a consultant or contractor must consider before beginning to design or supervise abatement work. Along with other topics, the course examines insurance, bonding, contract specifications, and the health effects of asbestos. The training course package contains a student notebook, instructor's course, syllabus, 466 slides, 40 overhead transparencies, and a copy of the 'Purple Book'.
