Abstract |
A series of six tests were performed on wastes (fluff and contaminated soil) from the M.W. Manufacturing Superfund Site to determine the efficacy of incineration as the proposed remediation technology. The fluff, which is the insulation from scrap wire, and the soil wastes are contaminated with volatile and semivolatile organic compounds and high concentrations of copper and lead. Two kiln gas exit temperatures were used for the tests. This Project Summary was developed to announce key findings of the test program. |
