Abstract

The purpose of this report is to describe the process and effectiveness of the training program developed by the Southwestern Ohio Regional Computer Center for the Office of Drinking Water, Environmental Protection Agency, to aid State and Regional personnel in the installation and use of the Model State Information System. This training program was developed using theoretical information concerning adult learning, and consisted of a five-day, team-taught, on-site presentation in twenty-six States and Regions.
