| Abstract |
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is currently investigating the amount and the frequency of misfueling and its effect on motor vehicle exhaust emissions. This report summarizes four different programs, three of which have been completed and one which is still under way. Included in this report are the effects of tampering on exhaust emissions and on emission control components, the comparison between low and high altitude, the effects of continous misfueling and the frequency of misfueling. |
