| Abstract | The Record of Decision (ROD) for the interim remedy is the first operable unit at the Batavia Landfill Site, located in the Town of Batavia, Genesee County, New York. The selected remedial action addresses the potential risks that the Batavia Landfill poses for the nearby residents who rely on the local potable water supply. Volatile organic and inorganic contaminants emanating from the landfill currently threaten the potable water supply to the south and in the general vicinity of the site. |
