Abstract |
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants (NESHAP) for pesticide active ingredient (PAI) production under authority of Section 112 of the Clean Air Act. Public comments were received from 34 sources consisting mainly of PAI manufacturers, trade associations, and other interested parties. All the comments that were submitted and the responses to these comments are summarized in this document. This summary is the basis for the revisions made to the standards between proposal and promulgation. |
