Abstract
The purpose of this document is to summarize current monitoring activities and present a strategy for developing an integrated nationwide environmental monitoring program. The discussion addresses the need for coalescing some of the existing environmental monitoring activities, implementation of a quality control program, and the establishment of a central environmental data information system. The discussion is supported by seven appendices which provide more detail on the material covered.
