| Abstract |
A Task Force Report has been prepared to provide a compilation of the existing technical and scientific data related to the issues raised by wastewater disinfection. The report is divided into four main parts--Summary, Conclusions and Recommendations; Public Health Effects and Considerations; Toxic Effects on the Aquatic Environment; and Disinfection Process Alternatives. Also included in the report is a summary of the Agency's ongoing research and development program in the area of wastewater disinfection and alternate means of disinfection. |
