Abstract | The document demonstrates that Illinois is making Reasonable Further Progress in reducing VOC emissions as part of its plan for reducing ozone pollution in the State. The report discusses the VOC emissions inventory for the Chicago area and the Illinois part of the St Louis area, and shows that total VOC emissions in those areas are below the levels required by RFP in 1985. The report also discusses the improvement in ozone air quality and in carbon monoxide air quality in those areas. |
