| Abstract |
Air pollution in most of the Nation's urban areas is a regional problem. Consistent with the problem, the solution demands coordinated regional planning and regional effort. The body of this report contains a proposal for the boundaries of the Metropolitan Chicago Interstate Air Quality Control Region and supporting studies on engineering and urban factors. The report itself is intended to serve as the background document for the formal consultation with appropriate State and local authorities. |
