This three-day course is intended for those persons seeking accreditation as asbestos abatement workers. It presents a straightforward, easy-to-read approach to learning the basics of asbestos abatement, with illustrations and a summary of key facts and discussion questions at the conclusion of each chapter. It also includes a hands-on section designed to simulate actual on-the-job work practices. This training course package contains a student notebook, instructor's course syllabus, instructor's resources, 506 slides, a copy of the 'Purple Book', and a copy of 'A Guide to Respiratory Protection for the Asbestos Abatement Industry' (EPA/NIOSH). This course is also available in a Spanish language translation which includes a student notebook, slides, and a modified instructor's course syllabus.
