Abstract
This decision document presents the selected remedial action for the Explosives Washout Plant Operable Unit at the U.S. Army Depot Activity, Umatilla (UMDA), at Hermiston, Oregon. The purpose of this Washout Plant operable unit remedy is to eliminate the health and environmental risks associated with the washout water sump and reduce the potential safety/health risks associated with the Washout Plant building. The contaminated soils around the Washout Plant will be remediated under the Explosives Washout Lagoon Soils operable unit and are not addressed in this ROD.
