Abstract
This decision document presents the selected remedy for the Rocker Timber Framing and Treating Plant Operable Unit of the Silver Bow Creek/Butte Area site near Rocker, Montana (the Rocker OU). The primary purpose of the remedy is to protect human health from threats posed by direct contact with contaminated surface soils or exposure to contaminated groundwater. The secondary objective of the groundwater remedy is to reduce contaminant concentrations in the arsenic plume and the shallow alluvial aquifer to regulatory standards.
