Abstract
This decision document presents the selected remedial action and contingent remedial action for the Albion-Sheridan Township Landfill Site, Albion, Michigan. The purpose of this remedy is to reduce the risks associated with exposure to the contaminated materials on-site and to eliminate or reduce migration of contaminants to the groundwater, and to reduce the risks associated with arsenic contamination in the groundwater. The remedy includes treatment of principal threat waste, but other contaminants will remain on-site above health-based levels.
