Abstract
The Tri-County/Elgin Landfills Superfund Site encompasses both the Tri-County and Elgin Landfills. The purpose of the revised RD is to install a high strength, low-permeability asphalt cover, which replaces the previously approved asphalt layer, the geosynthetics, and 18 inches of the general fill layer over the geosynthetics.
