The guidance document provides procedures for developing human and ecological risk-based cleanup levels for facilities undergound corrective action and clean closure under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) in Region 10 of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The major risk assessment steps, including data evaluation exposure assessment, toxicity assessment, and risk characterization are described. Both deterministic and probabilistic methods are described.
