The report area is located in southwestern Kansas. It includes all of Hodgeman County and that part of Ford County north of the Arkansas River. The purposes of the study are to determine the extent and hydraulic characteristics of the water-yielding sandstone of the Dakota Formation, to determine the degree and effects of irrigation-well development, and to assess the potential for future development. |
