| Abstract | President Carter's Water Policy Message of June 6, 1978, contained the directive on water conservation that currently has every Federal agency examining its programs to identify ways of implementing each program's water conservation potential. The process, which will include public meetings and hearings and other opportunities for public comments, is expected to be completed by the end of September 1979. This document is a draft of a directory that is being compiled of federal programs that could have an impact on water conservation. |
