This decision document presents the selected remedial action for the AT&SF Albuquerque Superfund Site (hereinafter, the 'Site'), in Albuquerque, New Mexico, developed in accordance with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980, as amended (CERCLA), and, to the extent practicable, the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan, as amended (NCP), 40 CFR Part 300 et. seq.. This decision is based on the Administrative Record for the Site. The State of New Mexico supports this remedial action, and a letter of concurrence from the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) can be found in Appendix B to this Record of Decision (ROD). The response action selected in this ROD is necessary to protect the public health or welfare or the environment from actual or threatened releases of hazardous substances into the environment. Both soil and ground water contamination at the Site will be addressed through the remedial action selected in this ROD.
