Abstract
This document evaluates the applicability and affordability of disinfection byproducts (DBP) control technologies for small systems. The report discusses the capabilities of each technology for DBP control and determines whether they are affordable for small water systems in the categories laid out by the 1996 SDWA Amendments. Individual sections include: list of evaluated compliance technologies, compliance technology descriptions, basis for composite cost estimates, affordability determinations and break-point analysis. Appendices include relevant parts of Section 1412 and 1415 of the 1996 SDWA Amendments.
