Abstract | This decision document presents the selected remedial action for the Cleveland Mill Superfund Site, in Grant County, New Mexico. The Environmental Protection Agency, the lead agency for the Site, has determined that no further response actions are necessary to protect public health or welfare or the environment. However, ground water and surface water monitoring, operation and maintenance (O&M) of the constructed remedy, and implementation of the existing institutional controls (e.g., deed notices warning against the use of ground water, and to advise future owners about the risks of disturbing the cover and/or the underlying material), will continue to be performed at the Site. |
