Abstract | The report is concerned with municipalities and industries in the preparation or adoption of comprehensive programs for eliminating or reducing the pollution of interstate waters and tributaries thereof, and improving the sanitary condition of surface and underground waters. Due regard is noted for improvements necessary to conserve the waters for public water supplies, propagation of fish and aquatic life, recreational purposes, agricultural and other legitimate uses of the Grand and Chariton River Basins located in Iowa and Missouri. |
