Abstract
The organization of the Public Health Service is described, with particular reference to those parts of the Service most concerned with air pollution. These are, specifically, the Public Health Service Regional Organization, the Division of Special Health Services, and the Division of Sanitary Engineering Services. The responsibility of the latter division in this field is discussed in detail. This responsibility is primarily assigned to the Air Pollution Control Program at the Robert A. Taft Sanitary Engineering Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
