Abstract
Several technologies are available for reducing NOx emissions from municipal waste combustors (MWCs). These include combustion controls, natural gas injection (NGI), selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR), and selective catalytic reduction (SCR). The objectives of this report are to document the key design and operating parameters, commercial status, demonstrated performance, and cost of NGI, SNCR, and SCR, and to identify technology research and development needs associated with these technologies.
