Abstract
Standards of performance for the control of volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions from distillation unit operations in the synthetic organic chemical manufacturing industry are being promulgated under Section 111 of the Clean Air Act. These standards will apply to VOC emissions from newly constructed, modified, and reconstructed distillation units. The document summarizes the responses to public comments received on the proposed standards and the basis for changes made since proposal.
