| Abstract | The report covers eight independent case studies, each describing the EPA planning process as it relates to land use policies in a particular county or community. The purpose of the study was to explore the extent to which funds granted by EPA for financing construction of interceptor sewers may impact residential housing patterns in the communities served by these interceptor projects, the extent to which the impacts are being evaluated in the planning, review, and EPA approval of the project grants, and the ways in which EPA policies and procedures might be modified to lessen the adverse secondary impacts of interceptor construction on current development patterns. |
