Abstract |
The manual summarizes the information necessary for conducting field inspections of hospital waste incinerators. The manual is intended for use by Federal, State, and local field inspectors. The document presents the following information: (a) basic inspection procedures, (b) descriptions of the types of hospital waste incinerators, (c) descriptions of air pollution control systems which might be used on hospital incinerators, and (d) inspection techniques for hospital incinerators. Inspection checklists also are provided. |
