Abstract |
Reference is made to the serum dosage of ornithine carbamyl transferase (OCT), a more specific hepatic enzyme of ureagenesis found free in the blood in a measurable proportion when there is hepatic cytolysis. In an attempt to adapt the determination of OCT to automatic analysis the authors made available a simple, fast method that could be used to perform a series of analyses and would offer clinicians the possibility of engaging in widespread research and statistical studies. |
