Abstract | In arriving at improved safety of formulations, substitution of less toxic active ingredients, and use of emetics, warning colors, and antidusting agents and compounds to retard absorption are important. Highly toxic compounds may be employed with markedly decreased hazard if prior consideration is given to the incorporation of safety factors into the formulation itself, in addition to precautions usually advised. |
