| Abstract |
The symposium was the first of a planned series of conferences to discuss current research on treatment of food processing wastes. The first two days of the conference were devoted to an in-depth review of current research and demonstration projects which have been funded largely by the Federal Water Quality Administration. The third day was concerned with discussions of research on improved in-plant and in-field processing intended to reduce the quantities of waste needing treatment, and replaced the Annual Western Regional Research Laboratory's Collaborators Conference. |
