Abstract
The primary purpose of the workshop was to transfer 'state-of-the-art' information about mercury to states and other parties involved with risk assessment and fish consumption advisories. A variety of topics were presented in several sessions: Mercury Overview and Background; Occurrence in Fish and Wildlife, Watershed Effects, Florida Studies; Toxicity and Risk Assessment; Risk Management and Risk Communication; State Program Needs, National Mercury Study, and Mercury Control Strategies; The Proceedings document contains a summary of each speakers presentation, a selection of key graphics, and a summary of audience questions and responses.
