Abstract
The purpose of this study is to prepare guidelines and technical documents that can be utilized by industry, Federal, State, and local governmental agencies to assist in eliminating or minimizing the efforts of spills of contaminants that might adversely affect underground water which supplies, or can reasonably be expected to supply, any public water system. Finally, this report and guidance fulfill that mandate contained in the Safe Drinking Water Act.
