| Abstract |
The Handbook is for owners, operators, and managers of public water systems, and discusses federal public notification regulations. Public water systems are required to comply with the federal regulations from the effective date of the rule (April 28, 1989). States with primacy are required to adopt regulations no less stringent than the federal requirements. |
