The Integrated Aquatic Investigation Program for Gladstone Harbour was an expanded and integrated program to investigate and understand the causes of fish health issues reported in Gladstone Harbour in 2011. The program built on work already undertaken by the Queensland Government and implemented the Gladstone Fish Health Scientific Advisory Panel's recommendations. The program aimed to identify the cause(s) of the fish health issues experienced in the Gladstone region through further monitoring and research. The program also sought to expand overall knowledge of the aquatic ecosystem at Gladstone and build on existing monitoring and research activities by developing an expanded investigation program. |
