Abstract
This document provides guidance for designing and conducting field surveys of fish liver histopathology as part of the 301(h) monitoring programs. Information derived from surveys of fish liver histopathology are used in conjunction with other kinds of environmental data to assess potential impacts of permitted sewage discharges on marine biota.
