| Abstract | The CTS Printex site is an inactive printed circuit board manufacturing facility in Mountain View, Santa Clara County, California. Land surrounding the site is used for industrial, commercial, residential, and agricultural purposes. The site overlies two major water-yielding zones, a shallow and deep aquifer, which are suspected to be hydraulically continuous. From 1981 to 1985, the CTS Printex site manufactured printed circuit boards at its onsite facilities. In 1986, the State certified closure of the former CTS facility. The Record of Decision (ROD) addresses contaminated onsite ground water. The primary contaminants of concern affecting the ground water are VOCs including benzene, PCE, TCE, and toluene. The selected remedial action for the site is included. |
