The Sand Creek Superfund Site occupies about 550 acres in Commerce City, Adams County, Colorado. Upon completion of the Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study (RI/FS) for OU 1 EPA issued a Record of Decision (ROD) for OU1 in September, 1989 (PB90-178864).
