Abstract
The report was prepared to fulfill the requirements of Work Assignment No. 6. Under this Work Assignment, Engineering-Science has been requested to begin preliminary work for the municipal sewer exfiltration study being conducted by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The objectives of this Work Assignment were to determine (1) if the approach used by Brown and Caldwell to measure exfiltration was appropriate for further study, or if a different approach should be used; (2) identify locations to conduct field monitoring of sewer exfiltration; and (3) propose field monitoring methodology for measuring exfiltration.
