Abstract
Standards of performance for the control of emissions from ammonium sulfate manufacture plants are being proposed under the authority of Section 111 of the Clean Air Act. These standards would apply to new, modified, or reconstructed facilities at caprolactum by-product, synthetic and coke oven by-product ammonium sulate manufacturing plants. This document contains background information, environmental and economic impact assessments, and the rationale for the standards, as proposed under 40 CFR Part 60, Subpart PP.
