Abstract
Methyl Methacrylate (CAS No. 80-62-6) was administered to groups of 25 Crl:CB rats by inhalation at concentrations of 0, 287, 664, 1185, 1964 ppm on gestation days 6 through 15. On gestation day 20 dams were examined. Due to the unacceptable number of pregnancies determined on this day, the study was considered invalid and was to be used as a range-finding study for a repeat study. However, examination of pups revealed no evidence of embryolethality, embryotoxicity or soft tissue anomalies. Decreased maternal weight gain and parallel decreased food consumption was evident during gestation and seemed to be treatment related. This brief summary of the study does not contain data.
