Abstract
The document presents information on emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC's) from barge loading facilities in Shelby County, Tennessee. Information is presented on the process, emissions, emission control techniques, and the cost of reducing emissions based on information from a variety of sources. These sources include: an inspection of a barge loading facility, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) documents, technical literature, telephone communications with a representative of the MAPCO barge loading facility, and meetings with EPA personnel. The basis for this information is a status report for demonstration of vapor control technology for gasoline loading of barges.
