Abstract
The staff of the Federal Facilities Section, National Air Pollution Control Administration, devotes full time to the surveillance of air pollution problems arising from Federal activities. Actions to abate air pollution from Federal facilities were reported this year, for the first time, to the Bureau of the Budget. As required by Bureau of the Budget Circular No. A-78, these reports arrived on July 1, 1968, and reflect conditions as of April 1, 1968. A summary of the reports reveals that 442 remedial actions were reported for 387 installations located in 45 States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Guam.
