Abstract
This document presents EPA's revised human health and ecological risk assessments and its progress toward tolerance reassessment, and the interim reregistration eligibility decision for carbofuran. The document consists of six sections: section I contains the regulatory framework for reregistration/tolerance reassessment; section II provides a profile of the use and usage of the chemical; section III gives an overview of the revised human health and environmental effects risk assessments based on data, public comments, and other information received in response to the preliminary risk assessments, section IV presents the Agency's reregistration eligibility, tolerance reassessment, and risk management decisions; section V summarizes label changes necessary to implement the risk mitigation measures outlined in Section IV; and section VI provides information on how to access related documents. Finally, the Appendices list related and supporting documents and Data Call-In (DCI) information.
