FMC Corporation currently has underway another epidemiology study at the Baltimore, Maryland, plant. The study will investigate and document employee health experience related to working at the plant. This is a mortality study and morbidity survey which will include employees at the plant with one or more years of employment between January, 1955 and December, 1983. The anticipated date of completion for this ongoing study is Fourth Quarter, 1984. FMC Corporation is also submitting at this time several reports on some toxicity studies conducted for it on a C9-C10 aromatic solvent containing trimethylbenzene. FMC does not manufacture the solvent; nor do records indicate who supplied the particular solvent studied.
