Abstract
Three groups of 10 male Crl: CD*BR rats were exposed 6 hours/day, 5 day/week for 2 weeks to 5.1, 15 or 60 mg/m3 of particulate BTPPC in air. Test atmospheres were generated by suspension of the previously milled test material in an air stream and analyzed by gravimetric analysis. A procedural control group of 10 male Crl: CD*BR rats were exposed to air only. At the end of the exposure period, blood and urine samples were collected from all rats for clinical analyses, and 5 rats per group were killed for pathologic examination. The remaining rats were observed during a 14-day post exposure recovery period and then were given the same clinical and pathologic examinations.
