Abstract
Volume I of this report describes a survey that was made of the use and quantities, the geographic distribution and the current treatment and disposal practices of hazardous waste generators in both major and minor industries in Iowa. It also estimated the number and manpower characteristics of persons who daily contact such materials as a part of their employment, and identified the training needs in industry of persons who daily contact hazardous materials.
